You may be managing well on the surface while privately feeling stuck, disconnected or uncertain about what needs to change.
- You are managing outwardly but feeling increasingly overwhelmed internally.
- Anxiety, low mood or self-criticism is taking up more space in your life.
- You feel stuck despite understanding your situation intellectually.
- Addiction or recovery has raised deeper questions about identity, relationships or emotional life.
- A bereavement, separation or significant change has unsettled your sense of direction.
- Familiar difficulties continue to appear in your relationships.
- Work, responsibility or achievement no longer provides the stability or meaning it once did.
- Something does not feel right, even though you cannot yet explain exactly what it is.

An approach shaped around the person, not a formula
I draw on different therapeutic traditions rather than applying one predetermined method. Our work may involve understanding how past experiences continue to shape the present, paying attention to what happens in relationships, exploring feelings that have been difficult to articulate, or considering how you want to respond to the circumstances of your life now.
I aim to work in a way that is thoughtful, direct and human. I will not tell you how you should live, but I will work with you to understand what you are experiencing and what different possibilities may be available.
About
About Harry
I am a UKCP-registered integrative psychotherapist working with adults in Edinburgh and online. I trained at master's level at the Metanoia Institute and Middlesex University, completing an MSc and Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy with distinction.
Alongside private practice, I provide psychotherapy at Castle Craig, a specialist addiction and mental-health hospital.
Before retraining, I spent over a decade working across recruitment, charity, education, workplace mental health, business development and mental-health technology. That background continues to inform my understanding of work, responsibility, ambition and change.

Starting therapy
What happens next?
- 01
Send an enquiry
Send me a brief message about what has brought you to therapy and whether you would prefer to meet in Edinburgh, online or either.
- 02
Receive a response
I will respond to discuss availability and whether arranging an initial session appears appropriate.
- 03
Attend an initial session
The first paid 50-minute session is an opportunity to talk about what has brought you to therapy, ask questions and experience how it feels to work together.
Making an enquiry does not commit you to ongoing therapy.
Common questions
Frequently asked
How do I know whether therapy is right for me?
You do not need to be certain. An initial session is an opportunity to talk about what has brought you to therapy and consider together whether ongoing work feels appropriate.
What happens in the first session?
You can share what has brought you here, ask questions, and experience how it feels to work together. It is a paid 50-minute session, and there is no expectation of continuing.
How often would we meet?
Sessions are usually held weekly at an agreed regular time. Frequency is something we discuss together.
Can I meet online?
Yes. Online sessions are available to adults based in the UK. Please let me know in advance if you expect to attend while abroad.
Where are Edinburgh sessions held?
In-person sessions take place at Edinburgh Therapy Centre, 19–21 Queen Charlotte Street, Leith, EH6 6BA.
How much do sessions cost?
Fees from £70 for a 50-minute session. The fee is agreed clearly before your first session.
Get in touch
You do not need to have everything worked out before getting in touch.
A brief enquiry is enough to begin. Share what has brought you here, ask a question, and I will reply by email.
